Home Management

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Home Management is a private organiser for families. This page explains what we store, why, and your choices. Questions: services@bnds.io.

What we store

What we don't do

Google account data

If you choose to sign in with Google or connect Google services, we request only what each feature needs:

Access tokens are stored encrypted on our server and are used only to provide these features. You can disconnect at any time from your profile, which deletes the tokens and revokes our access; you can also revoke it at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Home Management's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used for advertising, is not sold, is not used to train AI models, and is not read by people except with your consent, for security, or where required by law.

Photos you scan

When you scan a fridge, shelf or receipt, the photo is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to recognise the items and is then discarded — we don't store the photo. Only the items you confirm are saved.

Calendar links

Your private calendar link lets calendar apps show your family schedule. Anyone with the link can read that feed, so keep it private; you can replace it at any time from Connect calendars.

Where data lives and how long

Data is stored on our server and in nightly backups kept for 14 days. When a household admin deletes data, it is removed from the app immediately and from backups within 14 days. To delete your account or your household's data, contact us at services@bnds.io. Admins can download all household data at any time (Settings → Export all data).

Service providers

Children

Profiles for children are created and controlled by their parents or guardians, who decide what the child can see. Children don't need an email address, and we don't contact them.

Changes

We'll update this page and the date above if anything changes.
